Introduction

The grinding is a complex process. The grinding mill plants consist of a material feeding, a mill, a classifier and a dust filter.
We obtain for very fine grinding particles of dimension under a millimeter and of 15 µm for a very extremely fine grindings.

The grinding consists of crushing materials between two free grinding rollers, on vertical shafts and a fixed grinding ring.

Grinding - Principle

The selection of the equipments is made in relation with the product (his chemical and physical features), the size of the particles to reach (Particles size distribution- PSD) and the quantity of materials to produce.
The mills associated to the classifiers allow to obtain particularly high degree of fineness.

Ring roller mills

About twenty models from BP 702 to BP 2506, which the main models are shown in this document. The other models are adjustments according to specific problems to be solved according to the product to grind.
These mills, which produce fine particles, and even extremely fine have a low power consumption and a lifetime particularly long.

Classifiers

BSS manufactures high efficiency classifiers, with an adapted capacity to the size of the mills. The used fabrications have a diameter, which can reach up to five meters.
These classifiers may be static or dynamic ones, with a capacity from 200 Kg/h to 70 to/h.
For the most advanced models, we obtain an efficiency of 99% for a feeding from 40 to 500 µm with a particle cut from 7 to 160 µm.
With other machines, less complex, the efficiency reaches 60% for a feeding from 0 to 500 µm with a particle cut from 40 to 500 µm.
